I didn't know they had water.
Great pics, Jack! What were you flying in? Ps. Soooo nice to see you back in the blogosphere!
The pictures are awesome. High five. :)
Thanks, Boney McBonester. How's things with you?
Thanks, Angela. Thanks for commenting.
Thanks. We were in a UH60 Blackhawk. My favorite helicopter, although I'll always have a soft spot for the old UH1 Huey. And it's good to be back!
They *are* awesome, and I figured out how to upload them all by myself! Wchhhhkkkkkkkk!
Wow. Those are amazing. And I wonder if there isn't some kind of poetic point in the silhouetted weapon at the edge of the top middle one.
Great pics, but just curious about two things, if I may:1.) What's the big structure that's featured in the 1st three pictures?2.) Is the vehicular traffic in some of the shots pretty much par for the course, these days? Thanks for giving us these views, and stay safe!
Uh. Okay. I mean...yes. Yes there was. Poetic.
Thanks.1.) The first one is Al Faw Palace. It's a main headquarters here on Victory Base Camp. It's pretty awesome inside. I'll post some pics on the inside sometime. The second one is an unfinished palace here on VBC. I don't know the name of it. A lot of the palaces are built out on the water like that. Maybe after we leave they will finish it.2.) Seems to be. We see lots of cars on the road when we head to the IZ, people doing their thing.
Oh shut up. lol
